Project Highlights

Measure existing loading dock operations noise level, evaluate impact on nearby Spa Treatment center and hotel suites using state-of-the-art SoundPlan^® 3D modeling software to predict effectiveness of proposed mitigations which include new sound barrier design, introduction of sound absorbing wall treatment and the lowering of the existing access roadway to limit exposure to noise sensitive adjacencies.

Pala Casino

Acoustical design and consulting for 3-venue performing arts center which include a 1550 seat performance hall, an intimate 300 seat theater, and multipurpose hall.  Responsibilities included providing room shaping design to augment natural room acoustics, acoustical surfaces, space adjacency issues, mechanical systems noise and vibration control, acoustic room modeling, and site measurement.

Eisemann Center for the Performing Arts Center

Provided extensive acoustical survey, site measurement and testing in preparation for expansion of existing 3.2 million square foot facility.  Services include field NIC testing of operable and fixed wall assemblies, ambient noise surveys, and reverberation time measurement.  Additional role include providing acoustical programming for proposed new addition that will include additional exhibition spaces, meeting rooms, lobbies, concourse, and transportation center.

Las Vegas Convention Center

Provided acoustical consulting services for the new American Airlines 2 million square foot terminal which incorporated a three level road system, eight-level parking garage, hotel accommodations, people mover system, etc.  Services included acoustical modeling of proposed design for acoustical consideration, recommendations for control of excess reverberant energy buildup and flutter echoes, wall and ceiling sound absorbing treatment, building envelope design to mitigate airplane noise, and building systems noise and vibration control.

Dallas-Ft. Worth International Airport Terminal D

Provided architectural acoustics and building systems noise control consulting for the new 50-story condominium hotel and spa featuring 599 fully furnished, contemporary units ranging from 600 to 7,000 square feet. Services include recommendations for sound isolating floor-ceiling and party wall assemblies, building systems noise and vibration control, and acoustical finishes for control of reverberant energy and flutter echoes.
